Non-Emergency Ambulance Driver/Operations Manager Abc Columbus, OH Job Details Part-time | Full-time $26.09 - $31.42 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description We are a growing, locally owned non-emergency ambulance company currently operating in Columbus, with expansion planned across Ohio. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Operations Manager / Driver to help build and grow our company. This is a highly active role in the beginning. You will be expected to drive non-emergency transports, perform marketing and outreach, build referral relationships, and bring in new transportation clients. As the company grows, the role will shift more into operations management and leadership. Experience Requirements 3+ years ambulance, EMS, medical transportation, or NEMT experience 2+ years supervisory, dispatch, scheduling, or operations experience preferred Ambulance billing experience strongly preferred Experience with AIM software and TriZetto highly preferred Experience developing relationships with dialysis centers, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and hospice providers preferred Must be willing to drive non-emergency ambulance transports as needed Key Responsibilities Driving & Operations

- Drive non-emergency ambulance transports as needed
- Assist with hospital discharges, dialysis, hospice, and scheduled transports
- Coordinate scheduling and dispatch
- Manage staffing, call-offs, and coverage
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff
- Ensure reliable daily operations Marketing & Business Development
- Build relationships with dialysis centers, hospice agencies, hospitals, SNFs, and rehab facilities
- Work with discharge planners, case managers, and social workers to secure referrals
- Conduct in-person visits, outreach, and follow-ups
- Develop ongoing referral partnerships and transportation contracts
- Actively bring in new clients and increase transport volume Billing & Administration
- Process billing using AIM software
- Submit claims through TriZetto
- Review and correct billing issues and denials
- Maintain accurate records and support accounts receivable Compliance & Leadership
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, Ohio EMS, and HIPAA
- Support staff performance and documentation
- Help develop systems as the company expands
- Assist with opening new locations across Ohio Qualifications
- 3+ years of ambulance, NEMT, operations, or billing experience preferred
- Experience with AIM and TriZetto strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid ambulance billing
- Experience in scheduling, dispatch, or staff supervision
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in both office and field settings
- Willingness to drive transports when needed
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving recordExperience Requirement This is not a desk-only role.
