Unit Director Lubbock Boys & Girls Club Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time From $37,500 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Knowledge management CPR Certification Teamwork First aid Educational department head experience Bachelor's degree First Aid Certification Organizational skills Public relations Delegation Negotiation AED Certification Full Job Description The Unit Director is directly responsible for the overseeing of operations and programs for a Club or multi-unit organization with the primary concern for program development and implementation; staff supervision of assigned staff and program volunteers; facilities and budget management.
Knowledge:
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices related to Management of Club operations, Youth Development, Resource Development, Resource Management, Financial and Budget Management, Facility and Equipment Management, Knowledge and Information Management Systems, Recruitment, Management and Motivation of Staff, Maintaining Collaborative Partnerships and Public Relations, Business Communications, Demonstrate Principles of all of the above.
Education:
A MINIMUM
of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University. Must be certified in CPR, First Aid & AED.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar experience in Organizational Planning supervision of activities based on the developmental needs of youth. Must have considerable knowledge of the program and procedures of the Boys & Girls Clubs, or the principles and practices of similar nonprofit organizations.
