Job Description
Description Duties and Responsiblities Receives all special event applications and initiates the departmental approval process Maintains a thorough knowledge of the City's Special Event Ordinance and recommend changes to the Emergency Management Coordinator Answers inquiries from event organizers in a timely manner Receives all Tier II Hazardous Materials reports, uploads and manages the Hazardous Materials database Assists with development and maintenance of plans and procedures, including but not limited to: Event Action Plans, Incident Action Plans, and Emergency Operations Plans and associated annexes Assists with the conduct of training and exercises to evaluate the readiness and effectiveness of the City's emergency response capabilities Assists with Emergency Operations Center activation as directed by the Emergency Management Coordinator Conducts administrative tasks including, but not limited to, records maintenance, composition of reports, and meeting minutes
