Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision of the Director, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administrative support of the Facilities Management department and security for the facility and all offsite buildings. Provides support to the Director and performs a full range of varied complex, sensitive, highly responsible and confidential office and secretarial support functions with little assistance. Responsible for assisting with maintaining Environment of Care manuals to ensure compliance with CMS and other regulatory bodies.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides secretarial support to the Director and Facilities Management department, including typing correspondence, preparing reports, meeting minutes, receives visitors into department. Maintains Environment of Care and other manuals to ensure compliance with CMS and other regulatory bodies. Responsible for secretarial duties as they relate to Patient Safety and Environment of Care meetings to include: agenda creation, calendar scheduling and minutes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Manages calendars, arranges schedules and meetings. Maintains regulatory binders, record keeping and filing system in accordance with departmental system and CMS requirements. Courteously answers the telephone and directs calls, takes messages appropriately. Maintains various departmental logs, databases, prepares reports routinely. Assists in care and maintenance of department equipment and ordering supplies. Abides by the HMH Legal Compliance Code of Conduct. Maintains a safe work environment and reports safety concerns appropriately. Maintains confidentiality and appropriate handling of PHI. Performs all other related duties as required and assigned. Education:
High school diploma or GED required.Experience:
None required. Prior administrative or facilities experience preferred.License/Certifications:
None required.Required Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and written and oral communication skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Frequent:
sitting, standing, walking, & reaching.Occasional:
lifting, carrying, bending, & squatting. Visual and hearing acuity required. Work is inside, with good ventilation and comfortable temperature.Possible exposure to:
