This pivotal role combines leadership, technical expertise, and proactive management to ensure all building systems operate smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and maintenance projects are executed seamlessly. As a Facility Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating a productive workspace that supports operational excellence and enhances overall facility performance. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring all systems—including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing—are functioning optimally. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and asset histories. Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors, providing leadership and guidance to ensure timely completion of repairs and upgrades. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues related to electrical systems, mechanical equipment, welding tasks, or residential painting projects. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Manage facilities maintenance activities including electrical repairs, welding projects, mechanical adjustments, and general upkeep. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff. Coordinate with vendors for procurement of parts such as ohmmeters or programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring quality standards are met. Lead emergency response efforts related to electrical or mechanical failures and coordinate repairs promptly. Foster excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs swiftly while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with strong leadership skills. Solid mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in electrical systems, schematics interpretation, welding, and residential painting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools essential for troubleshooting complex systems. Experience working with CMMS platforms to manage maintenance workflows efficiently. Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices including electrical experience and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read technical schematics and diagrams accurately for effective repairs. Strong communication skills in English to collaborate across teams and document work clearly. Demonstrated ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in manufacturing or large-scale facilities is highly desirable.
