Job Description
Note:
Individuals in exempt classifications as part time employees may be classified as non-exempt per FLSA law regarding minimum weekly salary requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Considerable knowledge of: - Public program planning, development, budgeting and management State and federal program guidelines and regulations Community and organizational needs and resources Principles and practices of effective supervision The theory, principles, practices and techniques of designated program services and related assigned duties Principles and practices of providing social services to culturally diverse populations Skill in: Analyzing programs and services, and structuring new programs and improvements Ability to: Effectively manage human, fiscal and material resources Interpret federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines Address the public and professional groups Analyze complex situations and evaluate alternatives prior to making decisions Analyze administrative and personnel, problems and identify appropriate solutions Analyze administrative and personnel, problems and identify appropriate solution Train and effectively manage assigned staff Exercise independent judgment and initiative to effectively carry out difficult assignments Prepare and maintain complex reports and records Work safely and support the culture of workplace safety Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public Follow written and verbal instructions Communicate effectively verbally and in writing Utilize software to manage project budgets, to review and markup construction documents and prepare graphics and exhibits Employee Benefits Coconino County offers a comprehensive employee benefits package to regular employees working 30 or more hours per week that includes: (Regular Part Time employees receive some benefits on a pro-rated basis.
