Full Job Description Narrative Description :
Facility Supervisor for UAC Tucson, Arizona warehouse location. The Facility Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the United Aeronautical Corporation (UAC) Tucson facility. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating facility and warehouse activities, maintaining operational efficiency, supporting safety compliance, and ensuring proper handling and organization of company materials and equipment. The Facility Supervisor works closely with Senior Management and Human Resources to support workforce coordination, policy implementation, employee supervision, and continuous operational improvement. Essential responsibilities involve managing daily facility operations and supporting efficient execution of company operational objectives. 1. Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and facility operations. 2. Provide direct supervision, guidance, and accountability for facility personnel. 3. Collaborate with Senior Management to support operational planning, workflow improvements, and facility needs. 4. Work with Human Resources on employee relations matters, onboarding support, performance concerns, policy compliance, and workplace standards. 5. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, deliveries, and inventory storage activities. 6. Monitor operational priorities and adjust workflows to meet business demands and deadlines. 7. Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding deliveries, materials, and logistics coordination. 8. Maintain operational schedules and resolve issues impacting productivity or facility performance. 9. Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of operational and inventory data within company systems. 10. Prepare reports or provide operational updates to Senior Management as requested. 11. Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and facility compliance requirements. 12. Identify operational improvement opportunities and recommend solutions. 13. Maintain organized, safe, and efficient facility conditions at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills. Ability to manage personnel and prioritize multiple operational tasks simultaneously. Working knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and facility oversight. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and operational procedures. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
EDUCATION
: College degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
EXPERIENCE
: Five (5+) minimum years related experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
: MS office proficiency, Excel, data entry, familiarity and ability to train on the Quantum ERP system. Working knowledge/operation of standard office equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: Remain stationary for hours or throughout workday in order to use, analyze, enter information in database system. Ability to hear warehouse parts puller and warehouse support staff to respond to their questions. Ability to supervisor facility for safety compliance effort and correctional actions. Ability to walk throughout warehouse to address personnel questions and to communicate effectively. Ability to work while surrounded by loud aircraft noises surrounding facility.
