$80,000-$90,000 per year About Mountain View Detox Mountain View Detox is a six-bed, co-ed residential substance use disorder treatment and detoxification program. Our smaller setting allows us to provide individualized care while creating a supportive and respectful environment for clients and staff. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and hands-on Program Director to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure that the facility provides safe, compassionate, and compliant services. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations, staffing, and scheduling of the residential treatment and detoxification program. Provide direct supervision to employees and ensure that assigned responsibilities and documentation are completed accurately and on time. Monitor client records in Kipu and maintain compliance with DHCS licensing requirements, Joint Commission standards, facility policies, and applicable safety regulations. Coordinate program operations related to detoxification services with nurses and physicians to support client safety, comfort, and continuity of care. Collaborate with clinical, medical, admissions, and administrative staff to coordinate client care and create smooth admission and discharge processes. Facilitate recovery-focused groups as needed and within the program director's professional scope. Assist with HR responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, employee supervision, performance management, and personnel documentation. Develop and update program policies, procedures, and protocols to improve facility operations, service delivery, and client outcomes. Conduct chart audits, personnel reviews, quality-assurance activities, and facility safety checks to maintain ongoing compliance and survey readiness. Respond to client concerns, employee issues, incidents, and emergencies with calm, professional leadership. Maintain productive relationships with referral partners, community organizations, regulatory representatives, and other outside stakeholders. Perform other reasonable duties that support the facility's operations, mission, and goals. Required Qualifications At least two years of experience in addiction and behavioral or mental health services as a Program Director, Facility Administrator, Operations Manager, or equivalent leadership position managing a residential substance use disorder treatment or detoxification program. Current AOD counselor certification in good standing, such as CADC, CATC, or SUDCC; or a current California professional license recognized by DHCS as a Licensed Practitioner such as
LMFT, LCSW, LPCC.
Working knowledge of California DHCS licensing requirements and Joint Commission standards applicable to residential substance use disorder treatment and detoxification programs. Strong organizational, record-keeping, writing, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain professional, organized, and solution-focused during difficult or urgent situations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral health, psychology, social work, human services, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Extensive experience using Kipu to review client documentation, monitor staff completion of records, and conduct chart audits. Experience participating in DHCS licensing reviews, Joint Commission surveys, or regulatory corrective-action processes. Schedule and Compensation This is a full-time, in-person leadership position. Some schedule flexibility may be required because Mountain View Detox operates 24 hours a day. So, on-call availability may be requested. The salary range is $80,000-$90,000 per year , depending on qualifications and experience.
