Job Description

Position Summary The company is seeking an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the physical condition, maintenance operations, and capital needs across a portfolio of multifamily communities. This role is responsible for ensuring properties are maintained to company standards, ownership expectations, and all applicable regulatory requirements, including HUD and LIHTC compliance. The Regional Facilities Manager will take a proactive, hands-on approach to inspections, vendor coordination, and maintenance performance, while partnering closely with regional and onsite teams. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and President and plays a key role in supporting overall asset performance and operational success. Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of multifamily facilities or maintenance management experience Experience at a regional or multi-site level required Must have experience with affordable housing (HUD / LIHTC required) Strong experience with
HUD NSPIRE / REAC
inspections Experience overseeing multifamily portfolios of 500+ units required Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance operations, and capital projects Experience with vendor management and bid processesAbility to travel regularly within assigned portfolio Key Responsibilities Property Oversight & Maintenance Performance Oversee physical condition and maintenance operations across assigned properties Ensure properties are maintained in compliance with company standards and ownership expectations Monitor work order completion, unit turns, and preventative maintenance programsIdentify maintenance deficiencies and ensure timely resolution Support site teams with troubleshooting and operational challenges Compliance & Inspections (HUD / NSPIRE / REAC)Conduct regular property inspections to ensure readiness for
HUD NSPIRE / REAC
inspections Perform pre-inspection audits and develop corrective action plans Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and applicable state and local requirements Track and follow up on inspection deficiencies and required repairs Provide guidance and training to site teams on inspection standards and expectations Vendor Management & Bidding Assist with obtaining and reviewing bids for maintenance and capital projects Ensure competitive pricing and quality of work Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Monitor project progress and completion Capital Projects & Improvements Assist with identifying capital needs across the portfolio Support planning and execution of capital improvement projects Track project timelines and ensure completion Team Support & Collaboration Partner with Regional Managers and onsite teams to support property performance Provide guidance to maintenance staff and site teamsAssist with training and reinforcing maintenance standards Reporting & AccountabilityProvide updates to leadership on property conditions and ongoing projects Track maintenance-related KPIs and property issues Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance
Compensation :
Pay range is $90,000-$110,000/year. Starting pay is based on experience.
