We host exclusive-use weddings and corporate events alongside a long-standing community of equestrian boarders. Our grounds are alive year-round — with wedding parties, brand activations, boarders, and the vendors who support all of it. We're seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to lead all buildings, grounds, and equestrian operations across the property. You'll supervise three teams — maintenance technicians, landscapers, and stablehands — manage departmental budgets, solicit and coordinate outside vendors, and direct labor resources supporting our event calendar. This is a working leadership role: you'll direct your teams' daily work, and you'll roll up your sleeves when the job calls for it. What You'll Do

• Equestrian Operations
• Lead and supervise the stablehand team and oversee daily equestrian center operations, including horse care, turnout, and facility upkeep
• Oversee boarder relations, beginning from initial facility tour and onboarding
• Oversee all equestrian arenas and infrastructure
• Interior & Exterior Maintenance
• Lead and supervise the maintenance technician team across all buildings and infrastructure
• Oversee guest house maintenance, including repairs, roofing, and refurbishment projects
• Conduct regular inspections and lead preventive maintenance planning
• Grounds Management
• Lead and supervise the landscaping team across all property grounds, with particular attention to the manicured landscaping surrounding our signature main house
• Manage water infrastructure and irrigation/sprinkler systems, including coordination with specialized outside vendors
• Oversee the estate's olive grove and trail system
• Event Support
• Direct your team's coordination of rental equipment delivery and pickup for scheduled events
• Coordinate facilities and grounds work around the estate's event calendar
• Budget & Vendor Management
• Develop and manage departmental budgets for maintenance, landscaping, and equestrian operations
• Solicit bids from and coordinate outside contractors and vendors for repair, construction, and specialized projects What We're Looking For
• Prior experience managing facilities, grounds, or equestrian operations, ideally at a private estate, ranch, or luxury property
• Comfort leading multiple, distinct labor teams at once
• Working knowledge of irrigation/water systems, building maintenance, and landscaping best practices
• Familiarity with horse care and stable operations; prior barn oversight experience a plus
• Comfort engaging directly with boarders and clients — relationship-building is a real part of this role
• Experience managing departmental budgets and soliciting vendor bids
• Proficiency operating heavy equipment (tractors, arena drags, and similar) is important for this role
• Some Spanish language proficiency preferred
• GC license a plus
• Valid driver's license and flexibility for occassional evening/weekend escalations when needed Compensation & Benefits

• 83,000/year base, commensurate with experience
• Up to $12,000 commission based on boarder satisfaction and retention
