Job Description

Chowchilla, CA Area Part Time @ $20.00hour Storage Manager Responsibility The Facility Manager ensures that our customers are greeted with a smile, and that our site is clean and in good repair. You are responsible for customer interaction, rental collection, physical appearance of the site, direct marketing for customers, routine light maintenance, cleanliness, and communication with the SSBC Management Team. The manager position reports to the operations Director of SSBC. Daily Duties - include the following and will evolve over time.
  • Log into SiteLink when you arrive at site at start of shift
  • Login into web clock upon arrival, in/out for lunch, logout for end of shift
  • Login to your designated email account and monitor/respond throughout the day.
  • Utilize SSBC contact list to support ongoing facility management
  • Greet existing customers and new prospects
  • Collect rent and execute rental agreements for new customers
  • Close out books daily and bank deposits as directed. Transmit EOD at end of shift.
  • Execute marketing plan for the site. (includes placing daily ads on craigslist, flyers)
  • Make collection calls and update SiteLink call notes
  • Adhere strictly to lien law process and ensure delinquent units prepared for auction
  • Walk the grounds at the start of each day - this is a required task o Ensure marketing collateral is available in designated areas o Pick up any trash and debris around the site (neat and clean) o Conduct daily lock check (vacant, over locks) using walk thru report o Ensure that all vacant spaces are available, clean and ready to rent
  • Send out End of Day (EOD) email to Management Team (Ops Director, Regional)
  • The physical condition of the facility is the Managers responsibility. Perform repairs that you can, as needed. This includes cleaning out vacant units, replacing latches, replace door handles, and arrange special projects.
  • Contact the designated person to schedule service personnel to the facility.
  • Inspect any work completed & process 100% invoices by outside providers.
  • Oversee landscaped areas: water, trimmed, alive and free of weeds. This means watering plants if there are issues with the sprinklers, or pulling weeds
  • Maintain manager reporting tools (maintenance/incident logs, petty cash, daily close)
  • Attend Manager Conference calls (twice a month)
  • Attend and participate in Monthly Partner Key Performance Indicator (KPI) review
  • Observe and respond promptly to potential breach of security problems, such as unsecured locks, gates, fences for any evidence of tampering with anything
  • Understand emergency procedures dealing with fire, criminal activity, and accidents, natural or manmade disasters.
