They will provide clear direction, model appropriate behavior and address performance concerns in a timely and professional manner. As a lead, they will foster a positive team environment and promote accountability, communication and consistency of care. They will ensure staff are following policies, procedures and client care plans. Candidates will learn to ensure all client care aligns with individualized plans, including ISP/IPP goals and behavioral supports. They will monitor the quality of services provided and address any gaps or inconsistencies. They will conduct regular check-ins and observations to ensure staff are providing person-centered care.

Candidates will learn to train new employees to ensure they can perform their roles effectively. They will provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to current staff. They will identify training needs and ensure staff remain compliant with certification requirements. They will also model best practices and reinforce expectations by providing hands-on guidance.

Candidate will learn how to oversee the daily operations of the home, including cleanliness, organization, and maintenance. They will ensure the home is properly stocked with supplies, groceries and medications. As the lead, they will schedule appointments, coordinate transportation and manage household routines.
