Job Description

Job Summary Person Centered Options is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Administrator to join our team at an adult residential facility. Dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to residents with diverse needs. The Assistant Administrator is responsible for assisting the Program Administrator with the overall management, supervision, and day-to-day operation of the residential care facility. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week. This includes ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations under Title 17 and Title 22, as well as Department of Developmental Services (DDS) guidelines. As well as maintaining high standards of care, safety, and person-centered supports for Individuals served in the Enhanced Behavioral Support Home (EBSH). The Assistant Administrator will serve as a designated backup to the Administrator in their absence and will ensure the continuity of operations, staff supervision, and documentation compliance. Responsibilities Maintain, update, and post staff schedules; file finalized copies monthly. Develop and update the monthly Activity Calendar for the home. Coordinate household purchasing for food, supplies, and program materials. Review daily documentation, including Behavior Logs, Daily Notes, Temperature Logs, and Shift Exchange/Duty Checklists to ensure accuracy and completion. Participate in or lead Individual Monthly Meetings and assist in follow-up documentation. Assist with My25 entries and tracking as assigned. Follow Health and Safety Compliance Review and monitor Medication Administration Records (MARs); confirm medication Qualifications Proven experience with a focus on adult residential facilities Strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, A minimum of two (2) years of prior experience providing direct care or supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Completion of Residential Services Orientation. Possession of Direct Support Professional (DSP) I and II Certification. Administrator Certification for Adult Residential or Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes. Current CPR and First Aid Certification. Minimum of 16 hours of Emergency Intervention Training, including techniques for crisis prevention, positive behavior supports, and alternatives to restraint. Professional Credentials (One of the following): Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) or Qualified Behavior Modification Professional. Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Working knowledge of Title 17, Title 22, Community Care Licensing (CCL), and Regional Center requirements.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
