The Facility Manager is a key member of our small, collaborative management team and plays an essential role in how both members and staff experience the club each day. This role is responsible for the care, safety, and functionality of our facilities while working closely with other department leaders to support a well-run, welcoming club. What You'll Be Responsible For Oversee the overall condition and functionality of the entire club, including pool, spa, equipment, locker rooms, courts, and grounds. Work closely with our management team to prioritize projects, share insights, and support club-wide goals. Manage and support maintenance-related team members, including janitorial and landscaping. Ensure facility systems are clean, safe, and operating properly through preventative maintenance and timely repairs. Conduct regular walk-throughs to identify and address issues before they impact members or staff. Coordinate vendors, contractors, and inspections. Manage facility documentation, systems, and communication through Connecteam. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and planning for improvements and long-term facility needs. Be available periodically during evenings and weekends to support club operations. Interact with members in a friendly, professional manner, answering questions, offering help when appropriate, and contributing to a welcoming club atmosphere. What We're Looking For Experience managing facilities, maintenance operations, or complex physical environments. A collaborative team player who values communication and shared responsibility. Comfortable working in a member-facing environment and engaging with people day-to-day. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and follow through. Experience with pool and spa care is a plus. Confidence leading people and maintaining high standards. Working knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and property care. This will include but is not limited to HVAC, pool heater, sauna and steam room equipment, minor electrical and plumbing, software troubleshooting and landscaping tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on work as needed. Alignment with South Yuba Club's mission and values.
