Join us as a Facilities Manager to lead facilities readiness and shop operations. while fostering a culture of continuous improvement! Role Summary The Facilities Manager is responsible for keeping the facility, shop, tools, vehicles, supplies, and support systems clean, organized, safe, stocked, and ready for production. This role supports the production team by ensuring the physical environment is functioning properly and that the shop has what it needs to operate efficiently. Key Responsibilities Maintain overall shop cleanliness, organization, and daily readiness Manage M1 tools, equipment, maintenance, repairs, and upkeep Oversee vehicles, parking lot, dumpsters, waste flow, and exterior shop areas Maintain safety supplies, PPE, first aid, fire extinguishers, and general safety standards Coordinate with utilities, building vendors, repair vendors, and service providers Track facility issues and communicate needs before they become larger problems Support consumable restocking, material runs/deliveries, and general operational errands as needed Build and maintain systems for tool storage, shared areas, cleanup, and shop organization Support production by keeping the building and shop environment ready for work Identify and remedy space inefficiencies throughout the facility to get the best use of our spaces Help reinforce shop cleanliness, safety, and organization expectations across departments Maintain a tool/ machine maintenance calendar, and tool wishlist Requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to shop readiness Experience with tools, equipment, facilities, maintenance, or shop operations Ability to identify problems, communicate needs, and follow through on solutions Reliable, proactive, and comfortable owning recurring operational responsibilities Ability to coordinate vendors, track basic maintenance needs, and manage shop supplies Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and professional shop standards Basic comfort with Google Workspace, Airtable, Slack, or similar tools is a plus
