Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing or industrial facility. In this pivotal role, you will manage a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate repair and upkeep activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will help maintain optimal mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, fostering a safe and productive environment for all team members. Duties Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and high/low voltage equipment. Manage facilities maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and repair procedures. Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical systems using schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting safety audits, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining accurate safety documentation. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by managing timelines, resources, and contractors while adhering to project management best practices. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and equipment performance to support continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for facilities management that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring a safe working environment. Lifting up to 50 lbs when required Experience Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems (including HVAC system repair), electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with industrial maintenance procedures including schematics reading and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Experience managing facilities maintenance using CMMS software; ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial facilities; ability to implement safety procedures effectively. Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing projects from initiation through completion while maintaining team motivation. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of coordinating with team members, contractors, and management effectively.
