Job Description

The position consists of day-to-day oversight of a level 6 Adult Residential Facility. This Administrator must be a strong and experienced team leader. MUST be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and develop their home (team).
Minimum Qualifications Requirement:
At least one (1) year of experience as an ARF Administrator in a Level 6 facility. Without this experience candidates must not apply. High School diploma or GED. At least 21 years of age, as verified by a current California driver's license. At least nine (9) months of experience providing direct care to people with developmental disabilities. Posses a current ARF Administrator certificate issued by the California Department of Social Services. Able to pass Federal and State background clearance, drug, and health screening. Must possess the DSP 1 & 2 and CPI certificates. Must possess a valid First Aid/CPR certification prior to employment. Must have a basic computer and software usage. Responsibilities Knowledgeable and must meet the State and Regional Center requirements under Title 22 and Title 17. Supervision and management of all aspects of the facility, including assuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and will not be the Administrator for more than two (2) facilities at any time. Ensure the protection of the consumer rights. Provision of the administrative and fiscal management of the facility. Responsible for the assessment of program efficacy and correction and follow-up of any deficiencies. Ability to establish the facility's policy, program, and budget. Ability to recruit, employ, train, and evaluate staff. Responsible for maintaining contacts with consumers, facility staff, healthcare providers, social workers, families, and significant others. Responsible for the maintenance of a safe, clean, and attractive residence and grounds. Other duties as assigned by the Licensee.
Prerequisites for the position include:
  • High School or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • ARF Certification License and previous experience in the role
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Accessible Finger Prints
  • Able to sustain and pass a background check
