On Site Supervisor Valley Springs Presbyterian Church Roseville, CA Job Details Part-time $16.90 - $18.90 an hour 1 day ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Greeting customers Sanitation Emergency management Technical support Coffee experience Decision making Safe environment creation Cleaning Patrolling Stocking Guest services Facilities maintenance Entry level Under 1 year Air conditioning Full Job Description Responsible Provide a safe and secure environment for the church facility and its occupants Support the internal and external uses of our facility Provide excellent customer service to the users of our facility, in particular when supervisory staff is not present Primary Functions Provide for the locking, unlocking, and alarming of the facility as dictated by the facility schedule Review daily room use schedules and execute room set-ups and changeovers as required Create and/or post directional signage relevant to daily room use Check in with facility users to ensure they are oriented to the space and have everything needed/contracted Review the facility for any maintenance or safety issues and address or report them as necessary Review the facility for any cleaning issues and address immediately (vacuuming, restrooms, garbage, etc.) Provide evening coverage of the Reception desk, welcoming and assisting people visiting our campus Provide coverage of the coffee bar, including making coffee, specialty drinks, and running the register Turn on/off lighting, A/C units, and audio-visual systems according to room use Provide technical support to facility users (connecting to audio/visual systems, microphones, etc.) Patrol the interior and exterior of the facility to ensure the safety of facility occupants Provide support for special maintenance projects as required Manage evening incident response, including fire alarms or requesting police/fire/medical assistance Organize and restock janitorial and kitchen supplies Organize and keep organized the storage rooms and cage Additional duties as assigned The ideal candidate will be an efficient and enthusiastic learner able to use excellent judgement in making quick decisions. Previous customer service experience preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and be comfortable working at height and in confined spaces. On-the-job training will be provided. Must be available for evening and weekend shifts. Morning shifts and overtime may occasionally be required.
