! Moongate Lounge is seeking an enthusiastic & experienced Front of House & Bar Manager to lead lounge service as well as in-house events. The position will be working in tandem with our Event Director and Bar Director to uphold and expand our hospitality standards. We are a high energy, multi

We work as a team to curate a unique expression of Chinese American food and love what we do! Our ideal candidate is committed to being an excellent communicator, finds joy in organization and is dedicated to providing warm hospitality. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in event/banquet dining. You love leading a team and can effectively motivate multiple departments.

Qualifications:

• Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to provide warm, professional & knowledgeable service in a high intensity work environment.
• Commitment to delivering a unique and memorable guest experience.
• A good understanding of Northern Californian produce.
• A deep understanding of wine, beers and spirits.

Responsibilites include:

Managing and training Moongate Lounge Service Staff Overseeing Moongate Lounge service Being the on-site manager for Private Dining Room parties Keep spaces organized/maintained Work with Events Director to create lasting systems to enhance and improve event service + offerings Forecast potential problems and provide solutions Continue to craft and shape our service experience
