Ready to lead with impact? Join CBRE as a Senior Facilities Manager , where you'll take thehelm of the headquarters for one of our key clients - a 2‑million‑square‑foot campus. In this high‑visibilityrole, you will oversee daily operations while leading a team of direct reportsto deliver exceptional service and operational excellence. You'll be responsible for ensuring the seamlessperformance, safety, and compliance of the facility, driving improvements thatenhance the overall workplace experience. As part of the Facilities Managementfunction, you'll partner closely with Property Managers and landlords toprovide consistent, high‑quality service across the portfolio. This is more than a facilities role, it's an opportunity tolead, influence, and elevate operations for a major client in a dynamicenvironment.What You'll Do:
Lead and coordinate facility repairs and maintenance bypartnering with technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely andhigh-quality service. Foster strong client relationships through proactivecommunication and regular meetings to address and resolve facility-relatedconcerns. Plan, prepare, and manage large-scale and high-profilecapital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports with precision andstrategic oversight. Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance withlocal, state, and federal regulations, maintaining high standards of qualityassurance. Identify opportunities for operational improvements,repairs, and upgrades, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency andperformance. Develop and enforce environmental health and safetyprocedures tailored to each facility's needs. Build and maintain vendor relationships, oversee invoicingprocesses, and review and approve purchase orders for parts, services, andlabor. Apply broad business and technical knowledge to alignfacilities operations with departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives. Provide formal supervision to staff, including performanceevaluations, coaching, training, and development planning. Manage daily team operations by setting work schedules,assigning tasks, cross-training staff, and tracking departmental deadlines. Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting CBRE's RISEvalues and influencing others through leadership and collaboration. Solve complex technical and operational challenges with astrategic and solutions-oriented mindset. Recognize and address the broader impact of decisionsacross the department, driving continuous improvement in methods, processes,and standards.What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degreepreferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of education andexperience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Headquarters and/orcampus‑level facilities management experience required. Experience managing afacility with a central plant is required. Strong high‑levelbudget management capability, including forecasting, accruals, deferrals, andvariance reporting. Facility Managementcertification (e.g., IFMA, BOMA) preferred. Demonstrated experiencein staffing, training, development, coaching, performance management, andretention. Ability to communicatecomplex or sensitive information clearly, set expectations, and navigatechallenges effectively. Proven leadershipskills with the ability to inspire teams and align operational goals acrossfunctions. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and relatedapplications. Excellentorganizational skills and a proactive, curious, solutions‑oriented mindset. Strong understanding offinancial and operational mathematics, including percentages, fractions, andother facility‑related calculations. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Facilities Manager position is $170,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Facilities Manager position is $180,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
