Role:
As a CBRE Maintenance Associate, you will be part of a critical team providing specialized meeting logistics and workplace experience functions for one of CBRE's most prestigious Life Sciences clients! You'll be responsible for performing a variety of duties supporting major events. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
Key Areas of Support Meeting & Event Support Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities. Prepare meetings and conference rooms, arranging tables and chairs as requested. May set up audio/visual equipment, flip charts and video /TVs within conference rooms and pick up when completed. Perform general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading, moving materials & runs errands. Reconfigure tables, chairs, and other furniture to support different room layouts. Inspect meeting spaces prior to events to ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and readiness. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of room setups and changes. Provide on-site support during events as needed, including resets and adjustments Assist/manage booking requests for various meeting and events spaces. Deliver requested items for the event, such as tablecloths, office supplies, flip charts, and markers. Reset meeting and conference rooms as needed. Maintain and restock conference rooms with standard office supplies as needed. Copy Area Maintain, stock, and order inventory of office supplies, paper, etc. in all copy rooms. Mail Support as per business needs Administrative Customer and hospitality service focused Perform various administrative tasks as needed to support site wide needs, events and facilities. Support / participation in meetings, update daily signage, etc. Team player, part of the integrated FM Team, supporting the Sr. Meeting & Events Coordinator and team. Maintain clear, concise, and professional communication in all interactions Submit maintenance & janitorial requests to Facilities Complete other duties as assigned

Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. This job description will change as per business needs
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. Concierge or maintenance experience in a hospitality or events planning environment helpful. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Associate position is $55,000annually and the maximum salary is $65,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
