Job Description

Position Summary The Administrative and Facilities Coordinator supports the daily operations of the university by coordinating facility maintenance, vendor services, office operations support, purchasing and administrative tasks. This role helps ensure a safe, organized, and efficient campus environment while providing operational support. Key Responsibilities Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and campus operational needs. Conduct routine inspections to ensure campus safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Track maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors and contractors. Manage facility, office, and maintenance-related supplies and inventory. Provide administrative support, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and report preparation as assigned. Assist departments with operational requests and facility-related concerns. Support campus events, special projects, and operational initiatives. Qualifications Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in facilities, operations, administration, or a related field. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Preferred Experience coordinating vendors and maintenance services. Knowledge of facility operations and inventory management. Work Environment Occasional evening or weekend support may be required for campus events or operational needs.
Compensation:
$25-$28/hr A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with AUHS. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants.
