This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant operation while driving productivity, profitability, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead plant operations with a strong focus on safety, training, and operational consistency. Manage Driver, Dispatch, Yard, Fleet, and inventory functions. Hire, train, and develop employees while maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Conduct regular driver safety meetings and oversee performance management. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in partnership with Sales. Investigate incidents, accidents, complaints, and operational issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. Oversee fleet maintenance, certifications, audits, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, transportation, and safety regulations (SPCC, SWPPP, SCAQMD, DPQA, etc.). Monitor inventory levels to maintain product availability and operational efficiency. Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of plant operations, logistics, transportation, or related leadership experience. Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of fuel and lubricant transportation regulations. Experience managing fleet operations and inventory. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
