Job Description
Monday-Friday:

Assistant Custodian Level I - IV is determined by assignment type (e.g., elementary, combined site, high school, multi-site) and Facility Management Communicate and coordinate with school staff, students, and community members in alignment with District Success Factors Maintain facility security by locking doors, windows, and gates; report unsafe conditions or needed repairs Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, drinking fountains, cafeterias, and other facility areas; gather and dispose of trash Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, sealing, and polishing Safely use chemicals and power equipment; remove graffiti, gum, and other markings, applying protective coatings as needed Inspect and clean equipment, air vents, and filters; perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs to building systems, furniture, and fixtures Conduct a variety of grounds work and assist with pool maintenance in compliance with district and safety codes Move and assemble furniture, distribute supplies, and prepare spaces for scheduled events or activities Supervise, assign, and train custodial staff; support or act in place of the Facility Manager when required Perform other related duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent Eighteen years or older Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
