Job Description

Job description If you are an experienced dental assistant who takes pride in delivering a great patient experience and enjoys working as part of a supportive team, we'd love to connect with you. We are looking for a skilled dental assistant to support our periodontists and help provide exceptional patient care. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills are essential. today to join our team.
Compensation:
$25 - $29 hourly
Responsibilities:
Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients' teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow up Welcome patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointment Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records
Qualifications:
Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired Previous dental assisting experience is necessary About Company We are a very progressive specialty practice, and we have a terrific team.
