Job Description

Responsible for administrative aspects of managing facility operations, maintenance, projects, and support activities of in-house and subcontractor work. Supervises assigned staff, ensures operations are performed in safe manner and manages emergency operational readiness and capability.

ABM Employee Benefits:
Staff & Mgmt High school diploma required; relevant certifications or coursework in facilities management is a plus. 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination or a related field. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with facilities management software/tools.
Facilities Support:
Assist in the coordination of daily facilities operations, including office space planning, seating arrangements, and maintenance activities. Respond to facility-related inquiries and requests from employees in a timely and professional manner.
Vendor Management:
Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure work is completed to satisfaction.
Space Management:
Support space planning initiatives, including office layout changes, furniture installations, and reconfigurations. Maintain accurate records of office space allocations and occupancy.
Event Support:
Coordinate facilities logistics for company events, meetings, and special projects. Ensure meeting rooms are set up with necessary equipment and supplies.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Assist in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment by monitoring and addressing health and safety concerns. Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.
Asset Management:
Track and manage office equipment, furniture, and supplies. Conduct periodic inventory checks and reorder supplies as needed.
Reporting:
Generate reports on facilities metrics, including space utilization, maintenance activities, and related expenses. Provide regular updates to management on facilities-related matters.
