Job Description

The Wolcott Board of Education is accepting applications for the following position:
Title:
Director of Facilities Wolcott Public Schools seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as our Facilities Director. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in project management and/or supervisory roles in facilities management or a related field. The Facilities Director's work is critical to providing students and staff with clean, safe, and well-maintained schools and grounds. Because the Facilities Director has a wide variety of important responsibilities, the position requires a flexible workday and calendar. This position has a seat on the Superintendent's cabinet as well as school building and facilities planning committees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervision and scheduling of all custodial and maintenance staff Budget preparation and oversight Planning and procuring necessary equipment and resources for custodial and maintenance Ensuring compliance with a wide variety of state and federal regulations Close collaboration with school administrators, the athletics director, and the superintendent Assessing, designing, and monitoring a wide variety of projects carried out by outside vendors
