Assistant Facility Manager

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort, providing exceptional service to our furry guests and their owners.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Facility Manager.
• Address employee and customer inquiries, resolving issues effectively.
• Monitor staffing needs and manage daily operations across all services (grooming, daycare, hotel, retail).
• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage retail sales to drive profits.
• Build lasting relationships with new customers and schedule services.
• Handle emergencies and incidents involving pets with professionalism.
• Support your team and maintain a positive work environment.

• Qualifications:

• Proven experience in staff management and retail.
• Strong knowledge of dog behavior and professional experience with animals.
• Proficient in computer software and POS systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Must be on-call and ready to fill in for open positions.
