Days:
Monday - Friday / Occasional Weekends Responsibilities Assists the Manager in organizing and directing the overall operation of the Facilities division. Plans, organizes and directs the daily work activities of the work group. Collates and tracks all cost center expenditures. Oversees the maintenance of a safe environment of care. Schedules work assignments, PM's and repair work; responsible for all electrical, fire alarm, plumbing, appliances and grounds service and repair for their campus. Assists the Manager in the compliance of regulation and standards for regulatory agencies such as Joint Commission, OSHA, AHCA and NFP. Assists Manager with the leadership of Facility team members. Assists the Manager with planning, organizing, and coordinating the overall operations of the buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment. Manages and audits day-to-day activities of work groups and projects ensuring equipment and buildings are properly maintained to BayCare, regulatory and industry standards. Directly supervises and mentors Team Members assigned to their work team. Requires the utilization of technology and data to monitor, improve, document, and validate operational programs and projects. Assist Manager in maintaining regulatory compliance and documentation of standards for agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Ensures accuracy and completeness of departmental documentation and drawings. Secures vendor quotes, contractor proposal, and manages minor infrastructure projects. Assists with purchasing and accounting process, staff training, and policy review. Collaborates with Infection Control and Design and Construction on capital projects Why BayCare? Education Required:
High School Diploma Preferred:
Associates Experience Required :
3 years experience as a Facilities Coordinator, Lead and/or performing advanced responsibilities
Preferred :
