Job Description

This incumbent in this position is responsible for providing on-site operational leadership and oversight to the daily operations, maintenance, repairs and overall readiness of the assigned Seminole Tribe of Florida's Buildings and Grounds property. The On-site Facilities Operations Manager ensures the assigned facility and grounds are safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service standards. The incumbent provides maintenance support, oversees work order completion, and coordinates the activities of facility staff and service contractors. The On-site Facilities Operations Manager delivers consistent, high-quality customer service to Tribal departments and the community. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities management performing in a supervisory capacity is required; or an equivalent combination of relevant education/training and experience may be considered. Certification as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or equivalent is preferred. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available for on-call or after-hours emergencies as needed.
