Job Description

What We're Looking For… We are seeking a full-time Kitchen Supervisor to join our team! This position is responsible for overseeing food production staff and assisting with food preparation in our skilled nursing facility, ensuring high-quality meals, safe food handling, and exceptional service while upholding Shell Point's mission of caring, serving, and satisfying. The Kitchen Supervisor works closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus, manage food and labor costs, maintain inventory and sanitation standards, train and motivate kitchen staff, and ensure compliance with culinary, health, and regulatory requirements. This role may assume the Executive Chef's responsibilities in their absence and will assist with scheduling, menu costing, reporting, process improvement, and emergency food preparation as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary, supervisory, and customer service skills, knowledge of food safety and menu costing, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. A culinary degree is preferred, along with at least two years of full-service restaurant experience and two years of supervisory experience in a food production environment.
