- The Building Manager PT - EM atCITY WIDE FACILITY SOLUTIONS
is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the facility. This role requires ensuring that the building's physical infrastructure is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations. The Building Manager will coordinate with various stakeholders to optimize building services and enhance the overall experience for occupants.Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the building, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and oversee the execution of repair work. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of building assets. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contractual agreements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and monitor expenses related to building operations. Respond promptly to emergency situations and manage crisis response efforts to ensure occupant safety. Maintain accurate records of building operations, including maintenance logs, vendor contracts, and compliance documentation. Foster positive relationships with building occupants, addressing concerns and feedback to improve service delivery.Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in facilities management or a related field is preferred.Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in building management or a related field. Proven track record of managing building operations, including maintenance, safety, and security. Experience in coordinating with vendors and service providers for building maintenance and repairs.Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with tenants, staff, and service providers. Ability to analyze and solve problems related to building operations and maintenance. Proficiency in using facility management software and tools. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in building management. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.Benefits
