This role is responsible for promoting resident well-being, supporting a high standard of care, and guiding a dedicated team in delivering attentive, person-centered services. Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight of nursing and wellness operations within the community. Ensure resident care plans are developed, implemented, and updated to reflect individual needs and preferences. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and wellness team members to promote strong performance and collaboration. Coordinate with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support continuity of care. Monitor resident health status, identify changes in condition, and respond appropriately to evolving care needs. Promote compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and quality standards. Oversee medication management processes and clinical documentation practices as required. Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members. Lead initiatives that enhance resident engagement, wellness, and quality of life. Participate in budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning related to clinical services. Qualifications Active nursing licensure in good standing, as required by state regulations. Experience in assisted living, senior living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting. Proven leadership experience in supervising clinical or wellness teams. Strong knowledge of resident care standards, regulatory compliance, and documentation requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead with professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment. Experience collaborating with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a Director-level or supervisory nursing role. Knowledge of assisted living operational best practices and quality improvement processes. Experience supporting resident wellness programs and engagement initiatives. Familiarity with electronic health records or resident care management systems.
