Job Description
PlaneSense, Inc., a leader in private aviation, is proud to offer flight training to our employees and clients in our own advanced flight simulator located at a flight training manufacture in the Tampa, Florida area. We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Facilities & Transportation Associate to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain our high standards of service and efficiency for both employees and clients participating in simulator training. The Facilities & Transportation Associate is responsible for safely transporting company employees and clients between hotels, restaurants, flight simulator training facilities, and airports, in the greater Tampa area, while also supporting the upkeep and maintenance of company vehicles and facilities in the greater Tampa, FL area. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport employees and clients as scheduled or needed. Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance of company vehicles. Manage work orders for building or property defects; coordinate repairs with approved vendors. Conduct minor repairs and maintenance of training rooms, furniture, and facility equipment. Assist with stocking and delivery of supplies to training rooms and other facility areas. Support the IT department with basic diagnostics as needed. Manage facility security systems, including badging and door alarms; troubleshoot issues as necessary. Set up and break down meeting spaces for company events, ensuring compliance with security and safety regulations. Review facility security regularly and maintain standards in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with employees, guests, vendors, and team members at all levels. Qualifications Must carry a valid driver's license Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal history records check Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Ability to lift heavy suitcases, packages, and equipment (up to 75 lbs). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education/Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Proficiency with basic repair tools and techniques. Additional Information Must maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance at all times. Tattoos, body piercings, and/or tongue rings may not be visible while in company-issued uniform at any time that non-company employees or clients are present. May be required to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. This position may be an ideal opportunity for flight students.
