POSITION SUMMARY
At Fresh Kitchen, we take pride in the buildings we serve our guests in — clean, safe, well-running spaces are part of the guest experience and part of how we protect the investment in every location. As the footprint of Fresh Kitchen continues to grow, we're looking for a hands-on Facilities professional to support the condition, reliability, and maintenance needs of our restaurants. The ideal candidate for the Regional Facilities Coordinator is mechanically inclined, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple areas of restaurant maintenance. Candidates do not need to know everything on day one. Fresh Kitchen is looking for strong mechanical aptitude, sound judgment, initiative, communication skills, and a willingness to continually develop technical capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs across restaurant equipment and building systems — commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R, basic plumbing and electrical, lighting, doors/hardware, fixtures, and finishes — within training and capability. Conduct proactive restaurant walkthroughs to identify facility, equipment, safety, and maintenance needs before they become larger operational issues. Independently organize and prioritize field activity across assigned restaurants based on operational need, geography, planned maintenance, parts availability, and restaurant access. Manage assigned Ecotrak work orders and follow Facilities issues through resolution. Use sound judgment to determine when work can be safely and efficiently completed in-house versus when specialized service-provider support is needed. Coordinate service providers end-to-end — reviewing scopes, proposals, and invoices for accuracy and reasonableness, and verifying completed work meets the identified facility need. Maintain assigned tools, equipment, commonly used parts, materials, and vehicle inventory to support field readiness. Communicate completed work, outstanding conditions, and next steps with restaurant and Facilities leadership. Support site surveys, equipment assessments, new restaurant openings, remodels, installations, and other Facilities projects. Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.
SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is required.

Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing across multiple maintenance disciplines. Ability to safely use common hand tools, power tools, meters, ladders, and test equipment. Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, or general building maintenance. Restaurant, hospitality, retail, commercial property, or multi-location facilities Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and follow issues through completion. Strong communication and basic computer/documentation skills. Experience using a CMMS such as Ecotrak. Valid driver's license and ability to regularly travel throughout the assigned territory. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification. Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights, including safely lifting, carrying, or maneuvering up to 70 pounds (with assistance).
