Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Manager - Cleaning & Facilities to oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition of our movie theater. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and enjoys supervising a team in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Manager will support the General Management Team by leading the usher and cleaning staff, ensuring all auditoriums and public areas are thoroughly cleaned, and helping maintain a first-class guest experience.
Schedule:
Friday - Tuesday afternoons/evenings, Off Wednesday/Thursday Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the usher and cleaning team during assigned shifts Manage nightly theater resets and deep cleaning to ensure auditoriums are ready for the next business day Delegate cleaning assignments while maintaining accountability for quality and completion Work alongside the team as needed to ensure all cleaning standards are met Conduct inspections of auditoriums, restrooms, lobby areas, hallways, and other guest-facing spaces Ensure proper cleaning procedures, safety practices, and chemical handling are followed Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned Train, coach, and develop ushers and cleaning staff on company standards and expectations Monitor cleaning supply inventory and communicate restocking needs Assist with general theater operations and provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for both guests and employees Qualifications Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Experience in janitorial, facilities, hospitality, or housekeeping operations is a plus Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lead a team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night closing shifts ServeSafe Food Handler and/or Manager Certification is preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to company procedures Why Join Us Fun, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Employee perks (free movies, concessions, etc.)

From $16.50 per hour
