Job Description :

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper/ facility manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the outdoor areas on our property. Ensuring that all outdoor spaces are neat, tidy, and hazard-free. The Groundskeeper will also assist with routine maintenance and repairs to outdoor equipment and structures. Ideally with a handyman type background.

Key Responsibilities :

General Grounds Maintenance :

Clean and maintain walkways, parking lots, and common areas. Empty trash cans and maintain outdoor waste management systems.

Repairs and Upkeep :

Assist with repairs to outdoor fixtures like fences, benches, and playgrounds, bathrooms, Paint and maintain outdoor structures as necessary.

Oversight :

keep tabs on all other vendors and ensure they are completing their jobs sufficiently.

Safety & Compliance :

Ensure all grounds maintenance tasks are performed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Additional Duties :

Assist with event setups, help with deliveries, and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Experience :

Prior experience in handyman work or construction/ skilled labor is prefered.

Physical Stamina :

Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Skills :

Strong attention to detail; good problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Communication :

Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Work Hours :

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed, depending on weather conditions and seasonal demands.

Driver's License :

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Safety :

Ability to work safely around chemicals, tools, and equipment; willingness to follow safety protocols and wear protective gear when necessary.

Other :

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain). Ability to walk, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed for tasks.
