Job Details
Adhere to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) rules and regulations to enforce proper approval and verification.
Audit applications in a timely and accurate manner to ensure the student has the correct eligibility based on the USDA Eligibility Guidelines and eligibility benefits hierarchy. Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
Print and email notification letters following appropriate procedures as designated by the Free and Reduced Supervisor.
Follow the verification process accurately and submit documentation by the designated deadline(s).Complete, print, and file reports as needed.
Provide support with translating Free and Reduced program information for parents/guardians and GCPS staff as needed.
Conduct Direct Certification (DC) matches and update student eligibility accordingly.
Identify and process students under special circumstances including homeless, foster, and migrant status in accordance with federal guidelinesMonitor compliance and ensure confidentiality of all student information.
Provide general administrative support for the SNP Department. Provide world-class customer service when assisting with parents, school personnel, and other departments.
Manage telephone coverage as directed, research and respond to questions from parents, school personnel, and other departments, and respond promptly and accurately.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a businesslike, courteous, and efficient manner.
Assist central office staff with assigned responsibilities as directed.
Attend meetings and professional development sessions as assigned.

Support the School Nutrition Program (SNP) Department with all activities and tasks associated with the Free and Reduced Application Program including processing, auditing, verifying, and reporting functions.
