Overview We are seeking a highly skilled, solutions-driven Facility Technician who thrives on solving problems and tackling a wide variety of hands-on projects. This role goes beyond traditional maintenance—ideal candidates bring strong construction and systems based experience, along with the creativity and resourcefulness to deliver professional, lasting solutions across diverse building repair and improvement tasks. You will play a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and improving facilities through both scheduled maintenance and one-time projects. From troubleshooting issues to executing finish work, this position requires a well-rounded individual who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Drywall installation, patching, and repair Interior and exterior painting Fixture installation (lighting, hardware, appliances, etc.) Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, fixture replacement, drainage issues) Door installation and repair Gutter maintenance and repair Execute small construction or renovation projects independently or as part of a team Various manual labor task: cleaning up debris, moving materials, etc Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting safety codes and quality expectations Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and clients to understand needs and provide updates on progress Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or handyman services Strong aptitude with hands-on experience in multiple trades Working knowledge of buildings and systems Experience with drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repair work Basic plumbing knowledge and repair capability Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to unique challenges High attention to detail and commitment to delivering professional-quality results Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a variety of tasks Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license (if travel between sites is required)
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
