Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Assistant who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept community environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, outdoor setting. You should have basic maintenance knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a service-minded attitude when interacting with residents, owners, and guests. This position is well-suited for someone who is flexible, dependable, and willing to take on after-hours responsibilities, including night closing duties and on-call emergency support. A strong work ethic, respect for community living, and commitment to maintaining high property standards are essential. This is a great opportunity to grow hands-on facilities experience while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the property. Duties Perform routine facility maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of common areas Maintain pool, spa, walkways, parking lots, landscaping, and exterior areas Identify and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repair tasks Enforce property rules and provide friendly customer service to residents and guests Support special projects and emergency maintenance needs when required Reports to the property's on-site General Manager Night closing and on-call support Skills General knowledge of building maintenance, landscaping, pools Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills Attention to detail and ability to maintain high property standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders as needed Reliable, professional, and flexible with on-call and after-hours responsibilities Join us as a Facilities Assistant where your hands-on skills, leadership qualities, and enthusiasm will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.
