Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing or industrial facility. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, 2 pipe boiler, and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing facility performance. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance projects, and uphold the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact the efficiency and safety of a fast-paced industrial environment through proactive management and technical leadership. Duties Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance across all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, 2 pipe boiler, and HVAC systems. Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures in line with industry standards and safety regulations such as OSHA. Oversee the management of facilities maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, assets, and inventory. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage equipment—and 2 pipe boiler units to minimize downtime. Review schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and system upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training staff on OSHA standards, and maintaining a safe working environment. Lead project management efforts for facility upgrades or renovations, coordinating with contractors and vendors to meet project timelines and budgets. Monitor industrial maintenance activities to optimize energy efficiency, reduce costs, and improve system reliability. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety incidents to support continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Proven management experience overseeing facilities or industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting—including high voltage and low voltage—using tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety protocols within industrial settings. Excellent team management skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate staff toward operational excellence. Strong project management capabilities to oversee upgrades or new installations from planning through execution. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings effectively.
