The Facility Youth & Family Program Enrichment Director is responsible for administering the total operation of the department within Branch and Association parameters, overseeing the safe management of programs, facilities, volunteer and staff development, and financial development within the department.Schedule:
This is a full-time position averaging 40-50 hours a week position. Schedule requirements are normal working hours but some evenings and weekends required.Responsibilities:
Supervise staff, including hiring, onboarding, role-modeling, and coaching, scheduling and on-going development. Develop intentional relationships and maintain effective daily communication with participants and parents using the Y voice attributes. Work closely with Youth staff to ensure department operations are consistent with approved Leading Practices. Develop and monitor program budget to meet fiscal objectives. Manage all aspects of programming to ensure budget, quality and safety expectations are met. Create an environment that fosters safety through supervision and by role modeling safe behaviors. Maintain program site equipment and required program records. Respond to member and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in youth related field or equivalent experience. Minimum three years of experience in related field. Background must include strong skills in human relations, budgeting and fiscal management, financial development, health and well-being management, and staff and volunteer management. Must be able to meet YMCA transportation requirements. No more than 10% of time will be scheduled as front line for member engagement.REQUIRED LICENSURE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
CPR/AED. Prerequisite upon hire - 14-day compliance period. First Aid Certification. Prerequisite upon hire - 14-day compliance period. YUSA Team Leader Certification required within 3 years.Benefits:
