Facility & Kitchen Sanitation Assistant Simple Bites Meridian, ID Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Food service health code compliance Safety regulations Food safety sanitizing procedures Attention to detail Performing background checks Stocking Full Job Description Simple Bites Meals is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facility & Kitchen Sanitation Assistant to help maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment throughout our USDA-inspected facility. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining our front office areas, employee breakroom, and restrooms, while also supporting our kitchen team with dishwashing and sanitation duties.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain front office areas, hallways, and common spaces Sanitize and restock employee breakroom Clean and disinfect restrooms throughout the facility Empty trash and recycling containers Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment Maintain dishwashing and sanitation areas Follow USDA food safety and sanitation standards Assist with other cleaning and facility support tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and stay productive Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and performing cleaning duties Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required
Requirements:
Must successfully pass a background check prior to employment. Due to the nature of our food production environment, applicants with felony convictions will not be considered. Must be able to comply with all USDA food safety, sanitation, and facility regulations. No jewelry or visible body piercings are permitted while working in food production areas, in accordance with USDA and food safety requirements. Must maintain professional hygiene and follow all company food safety policies and procedures at all times.
