Job Description

Rend Lake College is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant - Facilities and Campus Operations to provide administrative and operational support for Facilities and Campus Operations. This position assists with office management, purchasing and invoice processing, recordkeeping, meeting coordination, project documentation, and facilities-related activities. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills who can manage multiple priorities while supporting campus operations, maintaining accurate records, and delivering outstanding customer service in a collaborative environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide office management and administrative support. Maintain confidentiality. Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, ordering supplies, distributing mail, filing, typing, copying, and receptionist duties. Process requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and professional correspondence in a timely manner. Organize, coordinate, and maintain files. Schedule, coordinate, and attend meetings as assigned. Coordinate RLC and rental vehicle reservations. // This is a 50 week, full-time, non-tenure track position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Degree from accredited institution required. Proficiency in relevant computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to prioritize work. Must be able to pass a background check
SALARY & BENEFITS
$36,000 - $38,000 per year. Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision. Free tuition for employee, spouse, and dependents.
