Type:
full-time The Facilities Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for maintenance of pipe and tube media delivery systems. The Facilities Infrastructure Specialist also supports the engineering department as needed with other assigned activities.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm but may vary based on business needs. Functions of the
Position:
Maintain facility piping, tubing, equipment, and media delivery systems. Operate pipe benders and related tools on a daily basis. Install mechanical assemblies using blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and written work instructions. Support project activities including equipment installation, line installation, system testing, and troubleshooting. Assist with project management and implementation of facility infrastructure improvements. Support engineering and special projects involving fabrication and machine shop equipment.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of welding and metal fabrication experience. Maintenance plumbing experience required. Experience maintaining and installing pipe and tube media delivery systems Experience supporting equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, and facility maintenance projects.
Skills and Competencies:
Safe use of power and hand tools. Blueprint reading skills required and math aptitude. The starting hourly range for this position is $32.55-$44.78. The hourly rate offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based incentives subject to the terms of the underlying plan.
