Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facilities Manager to provide care and operation of the facilities and equipment of the church so that people feel welcomed and supportive of the church's ministries and service. Responsibilities Clean the church according to a set cleaning schedule to insure that all areas are ready for scheduled events.
Such duties include:
cleaning and restocking bathrooms, floor cleaning and waxing, dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming, trash collection, and routine reachable window cleaning. Prepare classrooms and other facilities, setting up tables and chairs and equipment as needed or requested by teachers or leaders. Maintain safety of all areas of building and entrances, removing goose poop, bugs, debris and leaves from church walk ways and entrances as needed. Maintain a proper store of equipment and supplies for all operations of the church. After clearing purchases with the moderator of Buildings and Grounds, all requirements should be communicated to the Administrative Assistant specifying quantities and the company through which the order should be made. Prepare building facilities for special events such as weddings, funerals and other occasions. These services are compensated as appropriate to the established fees. Report major requirements for equipment and facilities, attention through administrative channels to Buildings and Grounds for action. Water the pianos as needed to maintain appropriate humidity levels. Replace burned out light bulbs throughout the building Clean the Mitsubishi units filters twice yearly. Other duties as assigned by the pastor. Skills Proven cleaning experience in residential or commercial buildings. Strong communication skills for clear documentation and team coordination. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds. Join us as our Facilities Manager to lead our cleaning operations with energy and precision!
