Join Our Team and Make a Difference Every Day! Parkview Haven Life Plan Community is seeking a compassionate, energetic and dependable Activities Assistant to join our team. This position is available part-time or full-time and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents by planning and leading engaging activities that promote physical, social, emotional and cognitive well-being. If you enjoy working with older adults, have a positive attitude and love bringing smiles to others, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Assist in planning and implementing daily activities and special events. Encourage resident participation in individual and group activities. Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting dignity and independence. Assist with outings, holiday celebrations, and community events. Prepare activity supplies and maintain activity areas. Document resident participation as required. Transport residents to and from activities when needed. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance each resident's quality of life.
Qualifications:
Compassionate, friendly, and dependable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in activities, healthcare, customer service, recreation, or working with seniors is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Why Join Us?
