Facilities Operations Manager Foley Equipment - 3.1 Topeka, KS Job Details 1 hour ago Benefits AD&D insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Vendor relationship building Customer communication Driver's License Driving Full Job Description At Foley Equipment, the Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the Facilities Management functions for the Foley facility assets regarding project management, repair & maintenance activities, and capital planning. Supervision and employee development of the facilities maintenance team to ensure operations are safe, standards are established and followed, and customer focus is a priority. What you will do in this job: Supervision, direction, and employee development of the facilities maintenance team. Ownership of the process to ensure repair and maintenance activities are in accordance with the company's goals and expectations. Continuous improvement of all facilities maintenance processes, policies, and standard operating procedures. Manage scope, schedule, and budget for facilities capital projects, while prioritizing safety. Owning the submission and management of capital funding requests and tracking - review, manage, and approve spending. Coordinate efforts between architects, engineers, contractors, and Foley's internal customers to ensure projects are executed according to the company's goals and expectations. Act as a subject matter expert to challenge and offer alternatives for solutions to improve operations, projects, and/or processes. Create and track metrics for Facilities Management. Communicate frequently to shareholders and internal customers. Lead the contractor/vendor selection process. Maintain vendor relationships to establish quality, safety, and delivery expectations. Ensuring quality and standards are maintained at all Foley sites with assessment/audits. Owner and system administrator for the facilities ticketing system (Fexa) and the facility condition assessment tool (Paragon). Maintain system integrity, data is current, and oversight of processes. Provide inputs and perspective to the long-term capital needs for forecasting and budgeting purposes. Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers. Work with the Director of Facilities to establish project standards, preferred providers/vendors, Facilities Management process, standard operating procedures, measures, and long-term capital plan. Respond to after-hours facilities related emergencies and/or issues, as needed. Ensuring coverage of after-hours with the team. Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our ideal candidate:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 5-7 years related in Facilities Management leadership role and/or Project Management Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization Strong knowledge of established construction and maintenance practices, procedures and techniques as well as applicable local, state and federal building codes Ability to drive and valid driver's license required.
