Job Summary Reporting to the Maintenance Analytics and Assets Management Director, this position manages the lifecycle of physical assets within and across multiple facilities for the University of Kentucky
- Lexington Campus, including planning and maintenance to repairs and replacements; Participates in establishing, developing, executing, and maintaining an effective and integrative asset management plan; Administers the facilities' asset management plan to support decision-making, capital planning, resource allocation, and policy implementation; Strives to optimize asset performance, improve facility operations, and align resources with strategic objectives; Seeks longer asset lifecycles, reduced operations costs, improved sustainability, and enhanced safety; Ensures functional facilities and focuses on the proactive, long-term performance and financial value of the physical assets.
Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities MS Windows/Office; Business Administration; Safety and Environmental Compliance Statutes; Construction Building Codes; Fiscal Acumen;SAP., KRONOS.
Driver's License — Preferred Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategies to manage assets effectively; Knowledge of real-world maintenance, asset optimization, improved sustainability, and enhanced safety. Previous experience in facility maintenance in higher education, property management, or asset management; including Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), GIS, or specialized asset management software. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
