The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing general facility maintenance, repairs, safety inspections, and upkeep across NFH properties. This hands-on role helps ensure our buildings, equipment, grounds, and fleet vehicles are safe, functional, clean, and ready to support our teams. This position will involve regular regional travel throughout NFH's donation service area to service and support other NFH locations. This position typically works standard business hours; however, occasional overtime, after-hours, or weekend work may be required based on facility needs or emergencies. What You'll Do Facilities Maintenance Perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and other building needs. Regularly inspect facilities and building systems to identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns. Coordinate repairs and service with outside vendors when specialized support is needed. Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other facility systems. Coordinate pest control, snow and ice removal, and other facility services as needed. Inspect and monitor alarm, fire protection, carbon dioxide, and other safety systems and coordinate timely repairs. Complete routine and weather-related grounds maintenance, including property cleanup and removal of fallen branches or debris. Maintain accurate facility maintenance and inspection records. Respond promptly to facility emergencies, notify appropriate personnel, and follow established safety procedures. FleetVehicle Support Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of NFH fleet vehicles. Help ensure vehicles remain clean, safe, and properly maintained. Safety Safely operate and maintain hand tools, equipment, machinery, and vehicles. Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. Identify and address potential hazards to help maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.
